The FAI network team has extensive experience in all major networking technologies. FAI capabilities include Fiber Optics (SONET, WDM) wireless (WiFi, microwave), TCP/IP, CCTV and network management (SNMP, TL1, CORBA).

Requirements Analysis

FAI defines the network architecture utilizing open standards; IETF, Telcordia, (Bellcore) IEEE, ITU, ANSI combined with a “bottoms-up approach” (existing network environment). 

This approach considers the integrated network requirements (data, voice, video), capacity, bandwidth needs and migration strategies. 

A well documented network architecture with a feasibility analysis and alternative approaches are provided as the requirements analysis product. 

Network Design and Specification Services

Based on a defined network architecture;

• Develop complete infrastructure design and specifications (Topology, site configurations, ancillary equipment, physical plant, demarcation interfaces, communications rooms) 
• Define the network management system (Hardware, software, configuration)
